The Department of Periodontology at Pacific Dental College & Research Centre, Udaipur, is a specialized department dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases affecting the supporting structures of the teeth, including the gingiva, periodontal ligament, cementum, and alveolar bone.

The department also focuses on dental Implantology and the management of peri-implant diseases. It is committed to excellence in patient care, education, research, and community outreach.

The department provides comprehensive clinical and academic training to undergraduate students, with emphasis on non-surgical periodontal therapy. The training includes:

  • Anatomy and physiology of periodontal tissues
  • Etiology, diagnosis, and classification of periodontal diseases
